Mold & Moisture

Conducive conditions are condiitons that could increase the chances of your home becoming infested with termites. A moist crawlspace with damp wood is a natural habitat for termites. Termites devour wood and soft, wet wood makes a perfect meal. Placing a barrier in a moist crawlspace along with proper soil treatment will inhibit the infestation of subterranean termites. Pricing varies by structure and size.

Termite Treatment

Your home is one of the biggest investments you’ll make in your lifetime, and it is frightening to think that it’s vulnerable to termites. In fact, no home is safe. Termites are found in every state except Alaska. Eco Advantage performs treatments by a trench and treat method also known as a soil treatment. These treatments are laborous and field studies indicate it is the most effective action carried out in the prevention and control of subterranean termitesTermites cause more damage than storms and fires combined, and the damage they cause is not covered by your homeowner’s insurance.”Don’t take a chance on your biggest investment. If it’s been more than a year since your last quality inspection, call Eco Advantage and have your home inspected”. Eco Advantage utilizes different termiticides. All of the termiticides are excellent in performance but differing in price. Each one of our products meets the highest EPA standards and requirements and is safe for family members and pets. We want Customers For Life®, and our level of service reflects that. The cost of a termite treatment is based on the chemical used, the size and structure of the property and location. Our treatments are offered with renewable warranties that include any treatment for areas showing weakness or indication of termite activity.

Wood Destroying Insect Reports

These reports are completed by a technician certified in completing wood destroying insect reports. These reports are completed for a pending real estate transaction. These reports are based on a thorough and detailed pest inspection. This report and inspection benefits both the prosepective buyer as well as the current owner of the home. The inspection indicates any visible existance of wood destroying insects as well as evidence of previously treated infestations. The report will also indicate any conducive conditions that may lead to termite activity. The WDIR is also referred to as the ‘termite inspection’ or ‘pest inspection’ when requested by realtors or clients. Other wood destroying insects includePowder Post BeetlesOld House Borers and Carpenter Bees. These inspections cover wood destroying insects NOT general pest concerns.Wood Destroying Insects threaten the structure of the home. A compromised structure is not a sound investment. Mortgage companies want to protect the investment and this is why an inspection is required.
